Ordering Comware Products
It is generally assumed, although not required, that actual order placement is preceded by downloading a demo version of the software and installation on a test system.
Ordering ISP Software Tools within the United States
In the United States, an order is initiated by downloading the demo version of the software. Prior to shipment of production software, payment is made in advance via either bank draft, Mail Order, Cashiers Check or bankwire transmission [see below]. Do NOT send cash. Checks and Money Orders should be made payable to Comware International, Inc. Payments may be shipped via U.S. or Express Mail to:

After receipt of payment, Comware International will send the production version of the software via e-mail within two working days.
Ordering ISP Software Tools outside the United States
Outside the United States, orders are fulfilled by bank wire only. The following procedure is followed:
- Placement of a Purchase Order, including Company Name, Address, and Purchase Order number. This Purchase Order is sent via email to the following address: orders@comnets.com.
- Upon receipt of an e-mail Purchase Order, Comware will respond with an acknowledgement of the Purchase Order, in addition to the banking information needed to carry out the bankwire transfer.
- On receipt of the e-mail acknowledgement, please remit the payment for the purchase price to the company name (Comware International) and the associated bank/account information presented in the acknowledgement.
- Unless otherwise agreed, Comware International will send the enabling software via e-mail within two working days of receipt of the bankwire transfer.
International Orders (Including Canada) - Please Note!
The buyer is responsible for payment of all duties or tariffs relating
to the purchase. These amounts are not included in the price of the product.
Source Licenses
Please note that only one source license is required for a given company,
and that a source license includes one production license for use on one
server system. However, additional production licenses are required for
additional server systems.
Turn-key Linux Systems
Placement of orders for Linux turn-key systems requires a signed Comware International Sales Agreement via fax. This agreement defines the hardware and software system configuration as well as the scheduled ship date, total system price, and a "down payment" portion. The down payment portion must be received within two weeks of the scheduled date of shipment.
Unless otherwise agreed, within two weeks prior to shipment Comware International will send a set of software configuration specifications, which must be acknowledged and returned via e-mail within one week of the scheduled ship date.
Shipment of hardware systems to locations outside of the United States involves filing of paperwork such as the Statement of Declaration of Origin. This process requires an additional two working days from the scheduled ship date and actual shipment.
